A group of local volunteers have been meeting most Saturdays mornings 10-12 since April 2024 to restore St Nicholas Graveyard. Overgrown with brambles for years, the group have uncovered forgotten graves and have been working with Cumberworth Village Association to commemorate WW1&2 veterans that are buried in the churchyard. They are also researching the local people buried in the graveyard and uncovering lots of interesting stories!
