Upon review of your employment application, you will be invited to an interview if approved. You will be expected to attend an oral interview before moving forward in the department.

There is a preliminary probationary period for all new Cadets within the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office. During this time, you will be expected to work closely with the Field Training Division to complete any training required.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office pays for all equipment, uniforms, and vehicle expenses.
Mandated department-wide FTO course/exam, per the discretion of the trainer.
