JustOne Night launches Al Sigl’s annual JustOne Campaign with a fun and engaging evening of guest bartending. Members of Al Sigl Boards and Friends compete to see who can earn the most tips, all in support of the organization’s mission.
Highlights:
Coordinated 20 guest bartenders, ensuring smooth logistics and volunteer engagement.
Expanded peer-to-peer fundraising exposure, resulting in over $25,000 raised in a single night (2026).
Achieved a record fundraising year since the event’s inception in 2016.
Impact:
The event successfully combined friendly competition, community engagement, and fundraising innovation, setting the tone for the JustOne Campaign each year.
Overview:
WalkAbout is Al Sigl’s annual free family-friendly event designed to welcome children and adults of all abilities for a fun and inclusive Halloween experience. Held at Eastview Mall, the event focuses on raising awareness of Al Sigl’s programs while providing a safe, engaging space for the community.
Highlights:
Coordinated logistics for trick-or-treating stations, volunteers, and mall partnerships.
Managed 100+ volunteers to support a smooth and welcoming experience for families.
Promoted the event through social media, local outreach, and community partnerships, increasing attendance from 300 in 2024 to 500 in 2025.
Designed interactive activities that encouraged community engagement and awareness of Al Sigl’s mission.

WalkAbout fosters inclusion and awareness, creating a fun, memorable experience for families while connecting the community to Al Sigl’s programs and services.
Overview:
The Community Fall Sweep, organized by the Applied Communication Association, is a campus-wide service initiative bringing students together for a day of volunteerism and community impact. The event focuses on giving back to the local community by raking leaves.
Highlights:
Coordinated 300+ student volunteers from various clubs and organizations.
Managed logistics for volunteer assignments, schedules, and supplies.
Fostered collaboration among student groups to maximize impact across campus.
Promoted the event through campus networks and social media to boost participation.
Impact:
The Fall Sweep created a tangible positive effect on the community, strengthened inter-club collaboration, and offered students an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to local projects.
Overview:
At SUNY Fredonia, Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority led a week-long awareness campaign for the National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders (ANAD). The campaign combined social media advocacy and in-person events to educate, support, and empower the community while promoting self-love and mental wellness.
Highlights:
Organized daily social media campaigns, including creative initiatives like “No-Makeup Mondays”, to encourage body positivity and self-confidence.
Coordinated in-person wellness events, including yoga sessions and professional talks on eating disorders and societal pressures.
Provided resources and safe spaces for students to learn, reflect, and engage in meaningful dialogue.
Impact:
The campaign successfully raised awareness of eating disorders, encouraged healthy self-expression, and strengthened community support networks while promoting the sorority’s chosen charity. Any funds raised throughout the week went directly to ANAD.
