Robotic Collaborative Assembly Challenge

In conjunction with the HCM workshop we are excited to accounce the RoCo Challenge. Participants are invited to showcase their creativity and problem-solving skills by developing practical solutions for collaborative robotic systems in human-centric manufacturing. 

The challenge focus includes:

• Prediction and proactive assistance: Anticipating human requirements during assembly.

• Instruction following: Responding to gesture-based commands.

• Error detection and correction: Identifying incorrect assembly steps, removing wrong parts, and continuing correctly.

• Autonomous continuation: Completing the assembly when the human operator leaves mid-process.
