Develop the AI semiconductor and its processing software. In this project, we will develop the AI application which will run on the edge device, not on the server.
2022-2025: Development of Human Digital Twin Technology Based on Dynamic Behavior Modelling and Human-Object-Space Interaction @ SEOULTECH, Main Research Group: KETI (funded by IITP)
Develop the human digital twin technology by adapting individual's characteristics such as age, gender, emotion, movement, etc. In this project, we will develop the human emotion, age, and gender classification based on human facial expression and human behavior.
2021-2023: Traffic Anomaly Detection in Dashcam Videos @ SEOULTECH (funded by ETRI)
Develop the traffic anomaly detection from dashcam videos based on machine learning algorithm. In this project, we will develop the deep learning model to encode the spatial-temporal information from dashcam videos including ego vehicle's motion and monocular depth estimation and predicts the probability of traffic anomaly at each frame.
2020-2023: Development of autonomous VR and AR content generation technology reflecting usage environment @ SEOULTECH (funded by IITP)
Develop customized VR/AR contents autonomous generation based on usage environmental information. In this project, we will develop a technology that collects and detects environmental context information and similar existing contents to express autonomously generated contents in harmony with the environment. This is an ongoing project.
2018-2021: Describing Robot’s Visual Context from Both of Robot’s Egocentric View and Other’s View for Effective Cooperation Based on Other’s Intent Recognition @ SEOULTECH (funded by NRF Young Researchers)
Develop robot's visual context description method considering both of robot's egocentric view and other's view. The final goal of this project is making the robot infer the human intent to cooperate with human effectively. This is an ongoing project.
2018-2020: Three-Dimensional Architectural Geometric Representation Integrated with Image Processing Technology @ SEOULTECH, Main Research Group: Korea University (funded by NRF Basic Research Labs)
Develop 3-dimensional architecture geometric representation technology using UAV and Lidar. This is an ongoing project.
Create 2D floor plan automatically from 3D point cloud generated by Lidar.
