AI & Deep Learning
HCIR lab studies AI & deep learning algorithms to achieve better performance in various fields including computer vision, natural language processing, and robot intelligence. Moreover, we research the efficient deep learning algorithms which can be trained and run on the edge devices.
Intelligent Robot
HCIR lab focuses on AI and deep learning algorithms for a better robot intelligence. We develop intelligent robots that can understand the context based on robot vision, express its understanding based on natural language, and act intelligently.
Human-Robot Interaction
HCIR lab studies AI-driven human-robot interaction and cooperation. We especially focus on the reinforcement learning for better human-robot cooperation. Also, we research various human-robot interaction fields including human intention reading, human action recognition, and human facial expression recognition.
AI Applications
HCIR lab's research fields are not limited to intelligent robots. We study various AI applications, for example detecting and classifying traffic accidents from dashcam videos.
HCIR Lab is looking for undergraduate and graduate students (M.S. and Ph.D.) for 2024 and 2025, respectively. Students who want to join HCIR Lab send CV to Prof. Han.
