I'm an associate professor of the department of AI and software at Gachon University. I participated in healthcare projects to understand health and wellness conditions of users with wearable devices at Samsung electronics. I joined the Virtual Human project under Jonathan Gratch of Institute of Creative Technology at USC as a Pos-doc. I completed MS and Ph.D. from Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology under prof. Woontack Woo ( http://uvrlab.org/ ) in 2005 and 2011.

I am working as an assistant professor (research) in the Department of AI and Software at Gachon University, Seongnam, South Korea. I received my PhD degree in Information and Communication Engineering from the School of Information and Electronics, Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing, China, in 2021, and my M.Sc. in Telecommunications Technology from Aston University, Birmingham, U.K., in 2012. I have authored and co-authored more than 60 publications, including IEEE, Springer, Elsevier, IET, Frontiers journals, flagship conference papers, and seven book chapters. Previously, I was honoured with the “Outstanding Scholar of the Year 2020 Award" from the CSC Scholarship Council under the Ministry of Education China and also received the “Excellent Student of the Year 2020 Award" from the Beijing Institute of Technology, China. I have been serving as an editorial board member for CSSE Tech Science, Metaverse, and AIA and a reviewer of several journals, including ACM and IEEE Transactions. My research interest is in the diverse fields of multimedia quality assessment, 360-degree videos, immersive media (VR/AR), metaverse, and quality of experience (QoE) evaluations of VR telemedicine and healthcare systems, with an emphasis on machine and deep learning with applications in healthcare, advanced education systems, and immersive applications evaluation. I am always willing to explore new areas, directions, and fields of study.

Currently, I am working as an assistant professor (research) in the Department of AI and Software at Gachon University, South Korea. I received my Ph.D. Degree in Computer Engineering from Gachon University in 2023. I received my master's degree in computer engineering from Jeju National University in 2020. I have more than 3 years' experience in the software industry. I worked in OZO as an assistant AI engineer. I also worked at Experts Vision as a software engineer. I have published papers in IEEE, Springer, and MDPI. My research area includes Internet of Things (IoT), Deep learning, Computer Vision, and Medical Image Analysis.

Ahmad Mouri Zadeh Khaki received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from Islamic Azad University (IAU), Iran, in 2013 and 2020, respectively. From 2014 to 2020, he was teaching with IAU. From 2022 to 2024, he was working on eye tracker systems as a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology, Gwangju, South Korea. He is currently a Research Assistant Professor at Gachon University, Seongnam-si, South Korea. He is working on human–computer interface systems and hardware implementation of neural networks for applications such as healthcare and IoT. His research interests include mixed-signal integrated circuits, deep learning, and FPGAs.

Dr. Lal Khan is currently working as an Assistant Professor (Research) in the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Software at Gachon University, Seongnam, South Korea. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Information Engineering from Chang Gung University, Taiwan, in 2022. His research interests lie at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning, with a particular focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computational Linguistics, Text Classification, and Large Language Models. His current work is focused on advancing multimodal models, aiming to integrate and enhance understanding across diverse data modalities. Throughout his academic journey, Dr. Khan has demonstrated a strong commitment to research and innovation, contributing to several peer-reviewed publications and collaborative projects. He continues to explore novel approaches to language understanding and generation, with the goal of improving machine interaction with human language in complex real-world scenarios.

Dr. Chandroth Jisi received her Ph.D. Degree in Computer Engineering and Security from Ajou University in 2025, and her M.S. in Computer Engineering from Sungkyunkwan University in 2019. She is currently working as an Assistant Professor (Research) in the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Software at Gachon University. She has been recognized with the “Excellent Thesis Award” and the “BK21 Graduate School Innovation Excellence Paper Award” from Ajou University, South Korea. Additionally, she received the “IETE CDIL Award for Industry” from the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE). Her research interests include the Internet of Things (IoT), Network Traffic Analysis, and Deep learning.
