인간 중심 컴퓨팅(Human-Centered Computing, HCC) 연구실은 세종대학교 인공지능데이터사이언스학과에 소속된 연구실입니다. 저희는 사람의 관점에서 기술을 이해하고, 기술이 일상과 사회 속에서 어떤 가치를 만들 수 있는지 탐구합니다.

연구의 출발점은 사람들이 기술을 통해 무엇을 필요로 하고 기대하는지 이해하는 데 있습니다. 사람마다 서로 다른 경험과 환경을 갖고 있다는 점에 주목하며, 이러한 차이를 고려하는 기술의 방향을 고민합니다. 새로운 기술이 제공하는 가능성과 사람들에게 미치는 영향을 함께 살펴보고, 인간의 필요에 부응하는 기술의 발전에 기여하고자 합니다.

HCC 연구실은 아이디어를 명확한 연구 질문으로 발전시키고, 결과를 근거에 따라 해석하는 과정을 중요하게 생각합니다. 서로 다른 관점을 나누는 열린 논의와 협업을 통해, 구성원들이 자신의 관심사를 발전시키고 독립적인 연구자로 성장할 수 있는 연구 공동체를 지향합니다.

The Human-Centered Computing (HCC) Lab is based in the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at Sejong University. We approach technology from a human perspective, exploring the value it can bring to everyday life and society.

Our work begins with understanding what people need and expect from technology. We recognize that people bring different experiences and circumstances to its use, and seek to account for these differences in the technologies we develop. By considering the possibilities offered by emerging technologies alongside their effects on people, we aim to contribute to technological development that responds to human needs.

At the HCC Lab, we value the process of turning ideas into clear research questions and interpreting findings based on evidence. Through open discussion and collaboration across different perspectives, we aim to build a research community where members can develop their interests and grow as independent researchers.
