Lens Studio is an augmented reality (AR) creation platform developed by Snap Inc., known for its photo and video sharing app, Snapchat. Lens Studio allows users to create filters and augmented reality effects for Snapchat. Users can use visual programming tools to design effects that respond to user movement and actions, or import 3D models for more complex effects.

Lens Studio is free and available to everyone, and it's easy to use for programming newbies. Creators can post their effects to Snapchat for other users to use in their own photos and videos. Creators may also participate in contests and partnership programs offered by Snap Inc. to promote their effects and creative work.
