The COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect our ability to offer routine visa services. The particular constraints vary based on local conditions and restrictions, but include local and national lockdowns; travel restrictions; quarantine regulations; and measures taken by our embassy and consulate to contain the spread of COVID-19. Combined, these restrictions have reduced appointment capacity. For nonimmigrant visa applicants, if you have an urgent matter and need to travel immediately, please follow the guidance provided at https://www.ustraveldocs.com/th/th-niv-expeditedappointment.asp to request an emergency appointment. All requests for an expedited interview are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. For immigrant visa adoption cases, please contact visasbkkiv@state.gov for more information on current limitations related to processing adoption cases.
You may be able to renew your visa by mail, if you meet all the qualifications listed on https://www.ustraveldocs.com/th/th-niv-visarenew.asp. Please read all the information before submitting your application by mail.
