Keep in mind two things: 1 - I was late, however, if I could manage to deliver three finshed drawings each three days, I would be, on average, doing ok (yep, I know, more confabulation to justify not keeping the deadlines...). 2 - I was still pretty much comitted to my Resolution #3 - One drawing, two prompts - and, if that worked out, I would end up catching up and getting "extra" days down the line. At least that was how I reasoned to myself.
So, I had the sketch for Scalop/Crabby ready. The next one was flame and this I had already an idea too: I had just finished a series of Fire godesses in AI that gave me the initial inspiration. Also, on the plus side, many of my pencil sketches were of people faces, so it should be fast. I looked for another prompt that could more or less "fit" the idea and found #25 - Tempting. Nhãã... Not great but should do it. As always, the result is down bellow and then we can discuss the proccess.
#Inktober 2022, Day 5: Flame (also thought about using it for Day 25, but actually did another one )
Now, the concept was pretty straightforward: one of the first things I did with AI (bac when DALLE was the only game in town) was to play a game with friends were we made an image based on the title of a movie. I used "Portrait of a Girl on Fire" once. I also have done more recently a seried of faces called Fyre Godesses. Off course none of thes image had nothing to do with the main art I did (as you can see bellow), but the idea was pretty much in my mind. So, that was the concept: flames forming a girl face.
It was also, the first time I had to stop before I was satisfied with the result. After all I had to post three drawings in three days. The third one was Bouquet and I had no idea what to draw... But that is for the next page.
