Google Meet for groups
The key is to schedule the meeting through Google Calendar:
Open Google Calendar
Create a new event
Add your Google Meet link (click “Add Google Meet video conferencing”)
In the “Guests” field, type the email address of your Google Group
Send the invite
Everyone in the group will receive the invitation via email.
Group permissions: In Google Groups settings, make sure the group allows receiving external emails and calendar invites
Membership visibility: Members need to be able to receive emails from the group (not muted or restricted)
Large groups: If the group is large, some members might not automatically be added as individual attendees—they’ll still get the invite email though
You won’t see each group member listed individually in the meeting—just the group email. So tracking RSVPs per person isn’t very reliable.
Reserve a room at the library -- Note, room reservations must be made at least 5 business days prior to the date requested and a Somerset County Library card is required to reserve the space. Please plan accordingly.
