Organize Art Show exhibits around Hillsborough at locations that are primarily not a business like nonprofit locations. This will include multiple artists displaying one or two pieces. This could be the library, Credit Union, Schools, Hillsborough Reformed Church or local outdoor spaces. The number of exhibits can increase as artist membership interest increases.
May also offer/plan an Art Show Fundraiser. At this event artists will donate their work. All art will be at one price point and all the sales(or specific percentage) of proceeds will be donated to the Arts Council.
May also offer a silent auction on-line through the HB website where artwork is displayed and some or all of the proceeds depending on the event will go to the HB Arts Council.
The committee will manage the program but the board will determine which artist will display at which location so that artist can contribute to the committee planning but not be involved in the selection determination.
