This team is for birth days between Aug 1st, 2015 and July 31st, 2016.
Our standards are based on U.S. Youth Soccer and Colorado Soccer Association guidelines and reflect our club’s commitment to player development, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
Create a safe, positive, and inclusive environment—all players feel valued and encouraged.
Teach age-appropriate fundamentals—dribbling, passing, receiving, positioning, and decision-making—through engaging activities.
Encourage effort and improvement over winning; focus on skill development and confidence.
Provide clear, simple instructions suited to the players’ age and abilities.
Model sportsmanship and professionalism toward referees, opponents, parents, and players.
Complete all required CSA safety trainings (SafeSport, concussion awareness, background checks).
Be positive role models—cheer for all players, encourage effort, and keep sideline comments supportive.
Ensure your player is prepared and on time for practices and games.
Let coaches coach—avoid giving instructions from the sidelines during games.
Model respect toward referees, coaches, players, and other parents at all times.
Follow the 24-Hour Rule—If you have a concern or disagreement (about playing time, a decision, or any game-related matter), please wait at least 24 hours after the event before discussing it with the coach. This cooling-off period ensures conversations are calm, respectful, and focused on solutions rather than emotions.
Focus on development over results—emphasize improvement, teamwork, and enjoyment.
Have fun and give your best effort in every practice and game.
Bring your gear—shin guards, water, ball, and soccer shoes—to each session.
Listen to your coach and follow directions to help the team succeed.
Be a supportive teammate—encourage others, celebrate effort, and respect all players.
Show sportsmanship—no arguing, negative language, or disrespect toward anyone.
Understand that participation and hard work at practice will reflect game time play—consistent effort in training earns opportunities in matches.
In youth soccer, especially at the U11 level, captains play an important role in building teamwork, confidence, and sportsmanship. The captian arm band is an honor and it is earned not given. A captain is not simply the best player on the field, but a player who leads by example through hard work, positive communication, respect for teammates and referees, and encouragement during both successes and challenges. Captains help create a supportive team environment where every player feels included and motivated to grow.
At this age, the captain’s role is focused on leadership development and learning responsibility in a positive way. U11 captains may help organize warmups, encourage teammates during games, and demonstrate strong character both on and off the field. By giving players opportunities to lead, youth soccer helps teach valuable life skills such as accountability, empathy, teamwork, and confidence that extend far beyond the game itself.
If you want to be a captain, earn it.
At the B11U level, soccer is about building a foundation—developing skills, fostering resilience, and creating a love for the game. Game time is earned through commitment, effort, and focus in practice, ensuring fairness and rewarding hard work.
Our team uses teamsnap as the communications platform for practice, game and other event scheduling. Parents/gaurdians can also indicate your players availability and communicate with other players parents/guardians.
