Solar Mode
Introduction
As daytime operation precludes 'plate-solving' (using star patterns to orient the telescope), the Seestar S50 needs to be levelled more accurately and the compass needs to be more accurate. If the telescope thinks these are too far off it asks for a calibration and/or adjustment. My experience - so far - is that it has asked for a level adjustment each time I have observed the Sun - but only asked for a compass calibration during the very first operation. Others' experiences may differ.
