Registration for our 2026 Hawai'i Thespians Festival is now open! This form is only for teachers and program directors only. We have a lot in store for the students.

Get ready for the most electrifying theatre event of the year — the 2026 Hawai‘i Thespians Festival! On Saturday, January 17, the islands’ brightest young performers will gather at Windward Community College for a full day of artistry, inspiration, and celebration.

Students from Kaua‘i to the Big Island will unite on Windward O‘ahu to take master-level workshops from industry professionals, audition for coveted scholarships, and showcase their incredible talent in front of peers and mentors. As the premier annual event for Hawai‘i’s student performers, this festival — hosted by the Hawai‘i Thespians and the Hawai‘i Conservatory of Performing Arts — welcomes theatre programs from grades 6–12 to come together, create, and spark lifelong connections.

Workshops this year range from Circus Skills, Set Design, Acting Shakespeare, Nailing the Audition, Bollywood, K-Pop Dance, Musical Theatre Jazz, Activating Queer Theatre, Playwriting, Stage Combat, Stage Management, Musical Theatre Performance and more! We will once again be offering three scholarships for theatre students and welcome a special guest from the University of Northern Colorado who will be offering a spot in their prestigious Musical Theatre program.

Whether you’re stepping into the spotlight or cheering from the wings, this is the unforgettable experience every young theatre artist deserves.
