Meet the Founder!

Reece Johnson is the founder of Haven 740, an organization focused on LGBTQ+ advocacy and community in southern Ohio.

He is a student at Kent State University working towards his Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) to become a registered nurse.

Through Haven 740, Reece works to create visibility, support and opportunities for LGBTQ+ individuals, especially in smaller communities.

Originally from southern Ohio, Reece started Haven 740 to give LGBTQ+ individuals, especially in small towns like his, a space where the LGBTQ+ feel seen, supported and included.

His work focuses on building connections, supporting others and creating spaces where people feel seen and included.
