Purpose

This website is made to help consolidate the information for an open source face shield attachment which can be placed onto a classic baseball hat. This attachment is designed for common use, not for use in a medical/hospital setting.

Hello,

I hope this website can help you during the COVID-19 crisis. I have spent time to make this project in order develop an extra layer of protection for anyone who comes into regular face-to-face contact with other people. I have made conscious decision to make this product as practical as possible. On this website you will find information on the OBJ files for the printable clips, the Polycarbonate face shield, and the way to construct and clean the product. While I hope this project will help many people, I have no experience in this field. In order to create confidence in this device, I will often include citations or references to reliable sources. In addition, all of this information is free to use, including the OBJ files. I hope that the open source component will allowed this information to get to the most amount of people.
