Thinker
We were thinkers because we were thinking about what we are able to come up with the idea of our topic, design of the blog, lines of inquiry, central, etc. We are also thinkers because we thought of things we are going to do throughout our pyp exhibition presentation, class visits, poster hanging and what were gonna do during the process of our pypx.
Reflective
We were reflective when we wrote the weekly reflections and learned from our mistakes. We think together what we did wrong last week and then we always solve our mistakes. My team always think first before we do anything and we also think what we need to solve in the blog.
Inquirer
We were inquirers because we asked relevant questions in our interview with Ms. Karin, class visits, teacher mentors, etc. We asked alot of questions to our mentors, parents, teachers about our pyp exhibition.
Communicator
We were communicators when we interviewed Ms. Karin and when we asked people for information about spreading online hate. We were also communicators because we discussed with our group and mentors about what were going to do with our pyp exhibition.
Risk-taker
We were risk-takers by being confident to interview Ms. Karin, do class visits, present to other grade levels, etc. We are also confident to talk to teachers and mentors to ask interview questions for our research.
Knowledgeable
We were knowledgeable when we learned new thing We gained new knowledge about spreading hate during this project. We will share our prior knowledge about spreading hate to others.
Open-minded
We listened to eachothers ideas, plan, action plan and designs with the blog. In doing so, we get more ideas for our blog, action plan and the exhibition.
Balanced
We managed and balanced our time wisely with playing time and serious time. We were also balanced with the work as when we are doing our blog, dividing tasks equally so everyone gets an equal amount off time for each page.
ATL Skills:
Self-management skills
We showed our self-management skills when we made split our time wisely. We made sure we could do everything in our limited time. Having self-management skills during the PYPx is important.
Communication Skills
We used our communication skills when we shared our ideas to each other. Also when we interviewed other people. Communication skills is important when we talk to other people.
Thinking skills
We used our thinking skills when we thought of our name and our action plan. We have to think to do the PYPx. Thinking skills are a very important part of the PYPx.
Social skills
We used our social skills when we talked to other people and told them about our issue. We used our social skills during our class visits and interviews. Social skills are used to convince people to help our cause.
Research skills
We used our research skills when we researched for our stories. We also used it when we researched for our issue. It's pretty much impossible to do the PYPx without our research skills.
