The USDA Equity Grant and Haskell Greenhouse are looking for four Student Researchers for our work-study program. Throughout this program, students will learn:
Traditional and contemporary land stewardship practices.
How to operate and maintain tools, equipment, and small machinery.
Seed banking.
Greenhouse maintenance and care.
Plant growing.
Methods of research (i.e., literature review, data collection, etc.).
Professional skills (i.e., leadership, community building, communication, etc.).
We are searching for students of any degree program who are willing to care for the land, learn and apply various research methods, gain professional skillsets, and engage with communities near and far.
Requirements
Cumulative and semester 2.5 GPA.
USDA Equity work-study application.

Pay: $15.00/hour Part-time
