2024 봄학기 등록 안내

2024년 봄학기는 2024년 1월 27일 첫 수업을 시작하여 5월 11일까지 16주간 진행될 예정입니다. 학교 전체 행사로는 2월 10일 설날 행사와 3월 16일 나의 꿈 말하기 대회를 계획하고 있습니다.

2024년 봄학기 등록을 접수하고 있습니다. 재학생의 경우 등록금은 지난 학기와 동일하며 별도의 등록원서를 작성할 필요가 없습니다. 가급적 1월 13일까지 등록하시기 바랍니다. 

Hello, parents of Hasang Korean School,

The weather in Chicago, famous for its windy and harsh weather, is still showing signs of warmth even after mid-December. I hope you always have a healthy and happy year-end.

The 2024 spring semester is scheduled to begin its first class on January 27, 2024 and run for 16 weeks until May 11. As school-wide events, we are planning a Lunar New Year event on February 10th and a My Dream Speaking Contest on March 16th.

We are now accepting registration for the 2024 spring semester. For current students, tuition is the same as last semester and there is no need to fill out a separate registration application form. Please kindly register by January 13th if possible.

2. Time: TOPIK I - 9:40~11:20 AM, TOPIK II - 12:50~4:20 PM (*please arrive 30 min early*)

3. Place: ①Korean Cultural Center of Chicago (Wheeling, IL), ②Purdue University (West Lafayette, IN), ③University of Iowa (Iowa City, IA), ④University of Michigan (Ann Arbor, MI), ⑤University of Minnesota (Minneapolis, MN), ⑥Ohio State University (Columbus, OH), ⑦University of Wisconsin (Madison, WI), ⑧University of Kansas (Lawrence, KS)

4. Fee: TOPIK I - $35, TOPIK II - $40 (Application fee is non-refundable)

   - The photo must be full face and front view

   - The photo must be in color (no black & white)

   - No with sunglasses, hat, or headgear

   - Minimum acceptable dimensions are 300 x 300 pixels. Maximum acceptable dimensions are 1200 x 1200 pixels.

간식 시간 Snack Time

안녕하세요 학부모님,

9월 초 개강을 하여 어느새 6주차 수업을 마쳤습니다.  그동안 음식 알러지 문제로 학교에 간식을 가지고 오는 것을 금지하였으나 현실적으로 어려움이 있어서 학급별 간식을 먹는 것으로 변경하였습니다. 대체로 11:00 - 11:40 경에 간식을 먹는 것으로 정하였습니다.

학급에 알러지가 있는 학생을 위하여 학급의 담임 선생님이 안내를 할 것입니다. 하지만 알러지 증상이 심각하게 나타나는 땅콩, 호두, 아몬드, 잣등 견과류 및 견과류 가공품은 간식으로 가져가지 않도록 학부모님의 협조를 부탁드립니다.

Hello Parents,

The semester started in early September and we have already completed the 6th week of classes. In the meantime, bringing snacks to school was prohibited due to food allergy issues, but due to practical difficulties, it was changed to eating snacks for each class. In general, we decided to have a snack around 11:00 - 11:40.

For students with allergies, the class teacher will provide guidance. However, we ask parents to cooperate so as not to bring nuts or processed nut products, such as peanuts, walnuts, almonds, and pine nuts, which cause serious allergy symptoms, as snacks.
