On A Winter Night

Production Assistant / Temp 2nd Assistant Director

In February 2024, Harvey worked on the feature film "On A Winter Night", produced by Diego Scerrati and Directed by Liam Calvert. The film starred Harry Potter star "David Bradley",  Emmerdale Star "Alexander Lincoln" and Domina Star" Jack Brett Anderson". Shooting took place in London over a multi-week period. Official Synopsis: A stone-broke gay actor and a privileged fuck up with a failing business cross paths on a winter night and join forces in a quest around London to find a meaning to their miserable lives, but when their unlikely connection turns into something deeper, fears and demons from their past come to jeopardise the whole mission.

Despite the long gruelling days, often in bad weather, Harvey was always punctual, well-prepared, and attentive to his duties. The dedication to his role was evident in the quality of his work and interactions with other team members. Piece

1st Assistant Director

From November 2023 to January 2024, Harvey worked on pre production and production of the BFI funded short film "Piece". Starring Scarlett Rayner, Leona Clarke and Corinne Strickett. Produced by City Eye Media, the shooting took place in Southampton showcasing various local favourite locations. Official Synopsis: A wannabe graffiti artist battles an anonymous rival. Fed up with her mundane life as a coffee shop barista, Max uses art as an escape. Yet when her art is defaced by a local rival, her patience is tested.

"Harvey was one of the most pivotal figures throughout the Production. Not only did he continually ensure the safety of the production, making sure we were on schedule and checking in with each department regularly, he was also one of the best people on set to be around. He was nice to literally everyone, whenever you spoke with him you would be sure to be laughing by the end of it. Harvey is not only Filmmaking minded but also people minded."

Just A Wish Away

3rd Assistant Director / Script Supervisor

In April 2024, Harvey aided the production of the short film "Just A Wish Away", filming in Portsmouth, England. Written and directed by Stephen Peers and produced by Freya Marley, the film is set in the 1980s following teenagers going to their prom after learning their exam results. Official Synopsis: When Mickey gets a surprise university offer, he must find a way to break it to Linda before their big night. Its 1986, schools out, exam results are in and proms approaching. What could go wrong?"


Freshers

1st Assistant Director

After being in contact with Sophie Bri Keeble (Director) and Shannon Hamiam (Producer), Harvey has been confirmed to assistant direct the short film "Freshers". Written and Directed by Keeble, the short is due to begin production in late August. Official Synopsis: "A group of stone-broke university students seize an unexpected opportunity for financial relief when they decide to catch an escaped convict for a hefty reward." 


Pathways

1st Assistant Director / 2nd Assistant Camera

In April 2024, Harvey will work as first assistant director on the short film "Pathways". The film is to begin shooting throughout central Southampton over a multi day period. Written and directed by Dominic Cecere, the film follows two life long mates "Freddy" and "Jake". After a prank goes wrong, Freddy's friendships are tested. Official Synopsis and Poster pending as film has not yet begun production.

STUDENT PRODUCTIONS

Lone Lighthouse 

Rated best film in his year group by the head AQA film studies examiner, Harvey's "narrative short" coursework follows a lighthouse keeper's pursuit for love on an isolated island. Once finding out he has a single day left to live due to a nuclear threat, the keeper grows insane and imagines a mermaid lover.

Ascendency

As part of the Cinematography and lighting unit, Harvey chose to produce a neo noir film set in a dystopian future. Synopsis: Earth is soon to be uninhabitable due to mass global warming from the ever increasing population. When pursuing a potential replacement planet for the human race, something evil interferes.

Echoes Of The Dead

Echoes of the dead is the product of Harvey's special FX and Horror unit. It follows a complex criminal who accidentally murders the owner of a home he broke in to. Following this, the guilt overwhelms him and the body of the victim reanimates. Whilst haunting him, the criminal truly realises what he has done.

The Officers

Upon being tasked with creating the opening to a Netflix show, Harvey created a short crime scene investigation. Once the criminal returns to the scene, a chase ensues between him and a police officer (filmed via an aerial drone shot). Harvey also created a title sequence and following interegation scene.
