Harvey has had a life long interest in filmmaking. His student films gained mass praise from teachers and peers, causing him to be given the opportunity to work on a BFI funded film. Since he was young, he studied behind the scenes documentaries on his favourite films and created fan films in his youth. With a life long passion for filmmaking, he self taught himself video editing and the basics of filmmaking. College learning allowed him to enhance these skills and learn to produce legal documents, as well as be educated in the theory behind motion picture creation.

Harvey studied Film Studies and Media Production: Video (at College A Level). Here he gained an A* for his Student Film "Lone Lighthouse" which was graded the best film in his college year group. He is a driven and passionate individual who will ensure all given tasks are completed professionally. From the age of nine, Harvey began writing scripts focusing on escapism. He loves stories which involve impossible places and emotionally complex characters. This is his driving motivation when working on productions: helping the viewer be immersed into a world greater than our own.
