Research Interests
My expertise lies in the intersection of AI and Security, where I concentrate on the practical application of AI in security domains such as software, IoT, and Cyber-Physical Systems security. Additionally, I investigate and mitigate security vulnerabilities in AI algorithms. My extensive research background spans more than a decade and encompasses the creation of 80+ publications, patents, and technology transfers to the industry. Within my research field, I have taken on diverse roles, including that of an invited speaker, guest editor, and technical co-chair. Join us at the SECAI 2025 workshop in ESORICS 2025, or contemplate submitting your research to our special issue titled "Advances in Security Countermeasures for Medical Sensor Networks" in the Internet of Things Journal (IF 5.9).
** I am presently welcoming self-funded Ph.D. candidates to undertake research projects focused on AI-enhanced penetration testing and the evaluation of AI-embedded systems' security. If you possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields such as Mathematics/Data Science with Computing elements and hold a strong passion for the realms of Cyber Security and Artificial Intelligence, please do not hesitate to contact me.
