Research and Innovative Product Design

A paper I wrote during my internship with Mr. Price at my role as Neurodivergent Product Initiative Leader. 

This highlights all my research on the history of fidget tools and my research behind stimming.

It also goes over my whole creative process for creating a fidget tool product for the staff members of Mr. Price, both neurodivergent and neurotypical, helping to foster a more inclusive workspace for everyone.

My mission was to assist with self-regulation, anxiety and stress. I got to work hands on with the National Learning Network and got to speak in great detail with the both the CEO of codex, Patrick Murphy, who works with AsIAm directly to do similar things, and the Operations Director of Mr. Price, Edel McSorely, who works with the NLN. 

They both push to extensively support every type of person in their employment by creating training programmes and opportunities for individuals who are neurodivergent.
