The Harrop Fund was established in 2013 in England. Our present priority is the relief of the civilian victims of Putin's illegal war in Ukraine. Otherwise the Fund is mainly spent on small human rights projects with an international impact.
The Fund's normal priorities are:
Promoting the voluntary work of lawyers for human rights, the rule of law and fair trials.
The training of lawyers in human rights overseas.
The observation of and reporting on criminal trials brought against human rights activists and political dissenters around the world.
To relieve the victims of abuse of human rights
To apply to The Harrop Fund for grants an online application form must be completed.

Annual Report and Accounts to 1st March 2023
The Charity Commission introduced July 2023 a new online account system for submission of annual reports and accounts for registered charities. It was failing to work. Despite numerous requests we had made to the Commission it failed to add our Charity to a new working online account. The deadline to submit the Charity's annual report and accounts for the financial year ending 1st March 2023 was 1st January 2024. After lodging a complaint the online account was created. The Annual Report was submitted the same day but late by 10 days. We posted the trustees' annual report and account by the deadline: See HERE for the Report.
