Harper Lake (aka Leon Wurl Wildlife Sanctuary) is located on the east side of McCaslin Blvd. about 1/4 mile south of S. Boulder Road in Louisville, Colorado (GPS coordinates: 39.978287 -105.164490). Members typically use the southwest entrance just off of Washington Ave (marked by the red pin in the map below). There is a parking lot and restroom facility here as well.
Notes about Harper Lake:
Dogs are not allowed. Dogs are allowed west of McCaslin where there is also a dog park.
Human contact with the water in Harper Lake is not allowed, since the water is part of Louisville's drinking water supply. Please wear waterproof boots when entering the water to launch your boat.
