A Silicon Valley based nonprofit, Harmony Werks Inc. offers informal training and performance opportunities that help to strengthen relationships and build communities by sharing our love of music and the arts.
Our mission is to support the arts, in all its forms - helping individuals to find performance opportunities, work with people struggling to find their voice and offer training and support. We have expanded our goals by now offering sound equipment, mics, projection screens and other technical support for organizations that need help at minimal costs.
A collaboration with Music Village, we began this outdoor Open Mic during Covid and continue the tradition once per month.
We support many local, regional and national music related events. Featuring performers from around the Bay Area. Contact us if you are looking for performers.
After a 3.5 year run at the Pear Theatre, the newly rechristened San Jose Community Cabaret Show will re-launch this Jan with community performers and six dates in 2026.
The San Jose Pop Up Choir is casual and fun group of volunteer singers that get together to sing at community events and build friendships through music.
At the beginning of 2025 we established our MUSIC THERAPY program, where we visit senior facilities weekly for sing-a-long style events. These are free of charge and no cost to the facilities and we plan on expanding the program in 2026 to additional locations.
We are currently visiting memrory care facilities once a week.
If you are interested in being part of the this daytime volunteer project, please send us an email with MUSIC IS THERAPY in the subject line. Must be over 16 to volunteer.
We offer the majority of our services free of charge to the public, made possible by your support, donations and patronage. Please use our link above to make a tax deductible donation if you would like to support the work that we do.
