The first ever charity concert-- following his sophomore year of high school, Breton Sego dedicated his summer to organizing a charity event for the local Children's Grief Center as a way to give back to his community, with a goal to raise 10,000 dollars. After months of planning and reaching out to his community, Sego not only put on a spectacular display of the talented performers New Mexico has to offer, but raised over 14,000 dollars for the Grief Center.
Hello! My name is Breton and I am a 16 year-old junior at Rio Rancho High School. I love music and performing musical theater. I am so grateful to my family, friends, and our guest musicians for supporting my vision for the Harmonies of Hope Charity Concert & Dinner.
Almost five years ago, I lost my six year-old cousin to brain cancer. I saw first-hand the tremendous grief that her siblings and parents suffered after her death.
I am organizing the Harmonies of Hope Charity Concert & Dinner for The Grief Center of New Mexico to help other families who have experienced such a loss.
Please join me in support of The Grief Center through Harmonies of Hope. Let's make a difference together.
