Arrival & Free Play / Art
This is when children can settle in and feel safe, smart, and special. Through free play and creative activities, they develop confidence, independence, and meaningful connections with others.
Circle time is guided by children’s curiosity and interests. Each month, we explore a different theme—such as outer space, the Earth, or the rainforest—through stories, discussions, and hands-on learning.
Rather than focusing on memorization, we value the joy of learning. We want children to feel confident, capable, and excited—experiencing the feeling of “I am smart” as they explore new ideas and make sense of the world around them.
Morning snack is a calm and enjoyable moment where children can recharge and connect with others. As they enjoy healthy foods, they practice independence, social skills, and feel comfortable and supported in a shared routine.
Outdoor time allows children to explore freely, move their bodies, and connect with the natural world. Whether they are running, observing, or discovering, we support their curiosity and help them feel confident, capable, and engaged in their environment.
We are also conveniently located across from Rudd Park, which provides opportunities for occasional visits and extended outdoor exploration when appropriate.
Lunch Time
Lunch time is a calm and supportive experience where children are free to make choices about how they enjoy their meals. We respect the food that families provide, recognizing that each meal carries meaning, culture, and care.
Instead of strict rules, we focus on creating a positive and pressure-free environment where children can explore food with confidence. This helps foster a healthy relationship with eating, rather than turning mealtime into something stressful or overwhelming.
We gently introduce concepts of balanced nutrition by using visual guides and simple discussions, allowing children to make connections and build awareness in a way that feels natural and empowering.
Toilet Routine and Quiet Time
After lunch, children are encouraged to move through their routine with increasing independence. They learn to take care of their own needs—such as using the toilet, washing their hands, and then settling into a quiet activity like reading before nap time.
These transitions are more than just part of the schedule—they are opportunities for children to build confidence and develop a strong sense of independence. Our goal is to help children feel capable, trusted, and proud of what they can do on their own.
Nap Time
Nap time is a calm and restful part of our day where children are supported in learning how to fall asleep independently. We create a peaceful environment with soft lighting and gentle white noise to help children relax and settle naturally.
Rather than relying on constant assistance, we encourage children to develop their own ability to rest, building confidence and self-regulation over time. Each child is supported at their own pace, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and secure.
Afternoon Snack
Afternoon snack is offered as a relaxed and optional part of our day. Children are invited to enjoy their snack if they feel hungry, while also learning to listen to their own bodies.
We respect that every child’s appetite is different. Some children may be ready to eat, while others may not feel hungry at that moment—and both are perfectly okay.
Our goal is to support a positive and natural relationship with food, where children feel comfortable, not pressured, and confident in recognizing their own needs.

To support a smooth and consistent routine for all children, we kindly ask that children arrive no later than 10:30 AM. Late arrivals can be disruptive to the flow of the day and may affect both the child and the group. If arrival after 10:30 AM is necessary (for example, due to an appointment), please contact us in advance to make arrangements.
Pick-up is flexible throughout the day. However, if you plan to pick up your child during nap time, we ask that you inform us ahead of time so we can minimize disruption and ensure a calm environment for all children.
If your child will be absent on any given day, we greatly appreciate advance notice. This helps us plan staffing and provide the best possible care.
Please note that our daily schedule may adjust slightly depending on the needs of the children and how the day unfolds. Our priority is always to support each child’s well-being, comfort, and development.
