Harbinder Singh received his B.Tech. degree in electronics and communication engineering from Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla, India. M.Tech degree in electronics and communication engineering from Punjab Technical University, Punjab. In 2016, he has completed his Ph.D. degree in computer vision from Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT), Waknaghat, India. Since January 2026, he has been working as a Professor and Head of Department (HOD) Quantum Computing at Amity University, Gurgaon, India. From June 2023 to January 2026, he has served as a senior researcher with the Vision and Intelligent Systems (VISILAB) Research Group at Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM), Ciudad Real, Spain. He worked on a research project titled "A network of excellence for distributed, trustworthy, efficient and scalable Artificial Intelligence (AI) at the Edge, framed in the Computer Vision" funded by the European Union's Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Programme under grant agreement No. 101120726. In 2022, he has served as visiting scholar at the Institute of Information Theory and Automation (UTIA), Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, Prague. His research interests are generative AI, quantum machine learning, diffusion models, Large Language Models (LLM), adversarial examples detection in deep neural networks, anomaly detection, human pose estimation, and image fusion.
