I want to use this opportunity to say a very big thank you to the Mastercard Foundation, Agri-Impact Ltd, KNUST E-Learning centre and the ischool Consult for putting together this wonderful e-happy program to harness agriculture and agribusiness among the Youth in Ghana. Through the knowledge and expertise I gained from the e-agripreneur program, my animal farming business is growing steadily and my business has achieved a great milestone by developing a 24hr extension services to colleagues animal farmers as a branch of our business. 

The 24hr extension services after going through vetting and pitching stages have been nominated as a beneficiary for the  MTN SME Support program and soon will receive capital to cushion the business to grow and expand. 

This great achievement can never be overlooked and we are extremely grateful to all the minds that came together to develop this e-Happy program.

I believe this is the beginning of greater transformation.

I'm engaged in farming rice and maize. However, I was limited to traditional record-keeping (pen and paper), with minimal knowledge of digital innovations in agriculture. This changed dramatically when I was selected to participate in the E-HAPPY Project training.

I was astounded by the exposure to powerful yet simple digital tools that revolutionized my approach to farming. The training opened a new chapter in my agribusiness, enabling me to design logos, flyers, and business cards, and use an online cashbook for tracking all my farm transactions—both income and expenditure.

With my newfound digital skills, I now manage my farm more efficiently and create logos, flyers, and business cards for other businesses in my community. Today, I'm no longer an ordinary farmer but a digital innovator.

I've become more informed that  effective farm management, proper finance and record keeping coupled with intentional branding have a positive correlation with success in Agriculture. If you treat agriculture like you will do for any business/investment, you are sure to succeed. 

The HAPPYtech Ambassadors training has helped me streamline my coffee sourcing and supply chain management. I now easily track inventory, connect with farmers, and negotiate better prices. I can now monitor quality, and make data-driven purchasing decisions.  

Approximately 3 weeks after the training and settling back home in Accra, I was tasked to coordinate a program the forms I was supposed to oversee had Google Docs & forms and I had received training that came very handy. Something I thought was too good to be true but sincerely was my experience. For which I'm especially grateful for.

It was as though God just knew (which in hindsight, He most definitely did know) what was ahead and orchestrated my participation in the HAPPYtech Ambassadors Program.

I am particularly enjoying the application of the tools learned in financial literacy and digital management at the moment. I am looking forward to practicing all others learned with time.

Currently, I have been able to start a business helping agricultural startups brand their products. In addition to that, I am currently using the Cash Book app to track our expenditures and income.

The HAPPYtech training has been one of the best training I have attended so far, from the hands-on experience enforced by the facilitators, assignments etc. All these experiences and knowledge shared have shaped me into a modern-day agribusiness owner and very proud of that. I’m able to design complimentary cards and manage my finances very well.

Again,  this training has given me the opportunity to earn another source of income with the bulk message.  I'm the secretary at church and I use the bulk message avenue to issue notifications to the church members and I get paid for that.

 Lastly,  I love content creation not necessarily in the agricultural space. I love to video everything I do but the video usually doesn’t come out well. This training has taught me how to edit videos and am very positive about this, that ‘ I will be globally recognized because of my YouTube channel “. HAPPY project should watch out for me. I’m very honored to be an ambassador for this project. 

I'm very delighted to share my second testimonial of this training. The clarity and relevance of the HAPPYtech content were excellent. The training effectively addressed my knowledge gaps in digital technology and agriculture. I have covered a depth of knowledge in the training, it motivates me to change and improve my attitude towards agricultural practices. The facilitators built my ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment, and I have already started implementing some of these techniques learned in the training. I have highly acquired skills and knowledge for my daily business as a HAPPYtech ambassador.
