We are open Monday - Thursday, 7:30am - 4:30pm. We currently are not able to accommodate care outside of these hours.
A few things we do that follow Montessori principles are as follows:
Focus on the whole child: social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development
Child-led environment with developmentally appropriate activities
Hands-on learning through natural curiosity and exploration
Child-sized furniture (indoors and out)
Freedom of movement for children of all ages
Focus on practical life activities and independence
Families are responsible for sending a morning snack, afternoon snack, and lunch with their child each day. With that being said, no child will ever go hungry at Happy Little Learners. We will always have snacks such as cheese, fruit, and wholegrain crackers to offer hungry little ones.
No, we are a screen-free child care. Children do not watch TV, tablets, phones, etc. while in care.
I have extensive experience working with, teaching, and caring for children. I am a credentialed elementary teacher, mother, and have experience caring for infants and toddlers. I am also certified in Infant & Child CPR and First Aid.
