We collect minimal information:

• We do not collect personal information such as names, email addresses, or account details

• Images captured for scanning are temporarily stored on our servers

• Basic analytics data about app usage and performance to help us improve the user experience

Image Processing

When you use the scanning feature, the images you capture are temporarily sent to Kindwise & Google for processing to identify the object and retrieve valuation information and web links to similar items. These images:

- Are only used for the purpose of identifying & diagnosing plants.

- Are not permanently stored by us

- Are processed in accordance with Kindwise's privacy policy & terms of use

- Are not used for any other purpose than providing the service you requested or Kindwise's usage policies.

How We Use Information

We use the limited information we collect to:

• Improve app functionality and performance

• Identify and fix technical issues

• Enhance existing features based on usage patterns

Data Storage

• All user data, including item collections, is stored locally on your device

• Any images related to in-app content are deleted automatically when that content is removed.

• When you uninstall the app, all associated data is automatically deleted

Third-Party Links

Our app provides links to third-party websites of Wikipedia, GBIF & iNaturalist for your convenience to find detailed plant information. We do not:

• Share any data with these third parties

• Receive commissions from these links

• Track your activity on these external websites

These sites have their own privacy policies that we do not control.

Children's Privacy

Our app is rated for users 4+ and does not collect personally identifiable information from children or adults.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy in the app.
