General Terms and Conditions Happy Pet Algarve.

Article 1: Definitions.

 * sitter: The person who carries the house- and/or provides pet sitting services.

 * Customer: The person who purchases the sitting services.

 * Agreement: The agreement between the babysitter and the customer for the sitting services.

 * Services: The agreed activities, such as caring for pets, plants, mail, and/or living in the home.

Article 2: Agreement.

 * An agreement is concluded after a clear agreement between the sitter and the customer, via the Meet & Greet booking form 

 *The customer is responsible for providing all necessary information about the pets, the house and any special instructions.

Article 3: Execution of the Services

 * The sitter will perform the services to the best of his ability according to the agreements and instructions of the customer.

 * The sitter reserves the right to arrange a replacement sitter in consultation with the customer, if possible, in the event of an emergency (e.g. illness of the sitter).

Article 4: Payment

 * The costs for the sitting services are agreed in advance and stated in writing. * Payment must be made in the agreed manner.

Article 5: Cancellation

 * Cancellation by the customer must be communicated as soon as possible. Depending on the time of cancellation, costs may be charged.

 * The babysitter reserves the right to cancel the agreement in case of force majeure.

Article 6: Liability

 * The sitter is not liable for damage to the customer's home or property, unless there is demonstrable gross negligence or gross negligence on the part of the babysitter.

 * The customer is responsible for insurance of his home and pets.

 * The sitter is not liable for medical costs or damage caused by the pets, unless there is demonstrable gross negligence or gross negligence on the part of the sitter.

Article 7: Other Provisions

 * Any complaints must be reported in writing to the sitter and Happy Pet as soon as possible 

 * Portuguese law applies to these general terms and conditions.

 * Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the district where the sitter is located.
