Location and public transportation

The meeting will take place at BCAM (Basque Center for Applied Mathematics), located at Alameda de Mazarredo 14, 48009, Bilbao and at the University of Basque Country (UPV/EHU), Department of Mathematics; see the maps to the right.
Bus No 3247 leaves from the airport to central Bilbao every 15 minutes (from 6:15 to 00:00 every 15 minutes). On the way to the airport, the same bus leaves from Termibus (San Mamés) every 15 minutes (from 5:15 to 22:00 every 15 minutes). Please check with the Bizkaibus web site for possible changes and updates.
A taxi from the airport to the center of Bilbao costs approximately 30 euro. There are several radio taxi companies (for example, taxibilbao.org/ or teletaxibilbao.com/en/).

The Department of Mathematics of the University of the Basque country (U) is located at the Bizkaia campus in Leioa. Several buses connect to the campus from various areas in Bilbao. Please check the web site of Bizkaibus for more information (navigate to "special routes" and then to "University of the Basque country".
The most frequent bus to UPV/EHU is A2318 which leaves from Bilbao Termibus (Zunzunegi) every 20 minutes (on the hour, 20 past, 40 past) and from UPV/EHU back to Bilbao every 20 minutes (10 past, 30 past, 10 to).
