Teaching Approach

Throughout my education, I have learned that students rarely lack curiosity or willingness to work through hard material. The harder part has often been stepping back and asking: Wait, why am I studying this again? How does this connect to what I learned last week?

In my teaching, I intentionally make the bigger picture and the connections across topics more visible. I want students to understand the overarching narrative of a course, not just the content of each individual class. A clear narrative is memorable: it helps students organize what they have learned and trace the material back when they really need it.
