PTSO Mission with AdvoCats

The New Hanover PTSO, also known as the "AdvoCats", non-profit was created in Spring 2023 with the goal of creating an enduring non-profit organization that exclusively and effectively supports the teachers, staff, students and facilities of New Hanover High School (“NHHS”).

Through advocacy, research, community engagement and collaborative initiatives, our mission is to promote and ensure educational and facility equity.

By addressing and eliminating disparities in access to quality facilities, resources, and opportunities among schools and students, we create a more equitable and just future where every child, regardless of their race, socioeconomic status, or geographic location, can thrive and reach their full potential.
