As a nonprofit organization, we completely rely on community support.
None of our efforts would be possible without the help of
donors, volunteers, and supportive community members like you.
The AdvoCats raise both annual operating funds and larger capital campaigns for NHHS for the following:
Teacher and Staff Appreciation Events
General Needs including Facility Improvements and Furnishings
Capital Improvements for NHHS
Your 2023-2024 Dollars and Volunteer Hours at Work...
Painted group bathrooms in the main building
Installed mirrors in bathrooms
Organized a school cleanup day before opening day
Adopted the 6 teacher lounges
Cater (past and future) Teacher/Staff Breakfasts and Lunches and other Appreciate Events
Host free monthly meetings to update parents and staff on ongoing projects, events, and conversations
Launched AdvoCats Grant Program for Teachers/Staff
Ongoing Advocacy for Improvements/Renovations to NHHS Campus and Athletic Fields

When donating to the AdvoCats, every dollar will go directly to the benefit of NHHS: the school, the staff and the students.
The Hanover AdvoCats is a 501(c)(3) set up to specifically, exclusively, support New Hanover High School. As such, all donations to the Hanover AdvoCats are 100% deductible, subject to the current tax laws. If there are tax questions specific to your unique tax status, please contact a tax professional.
