Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year! The PTO is excited about the year ahead and looks forward to working with all of you to create a strong school community. We want to continue to support our administration and teachers in the work they do to educate our children. This year, we hope to:

• Give 4 or more teacher/staff grants to assist with classroom materials and events;

• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe campus;

• Celebrate at school events like Homecoming Tailgate, and Basketball Championships;

• Enrich the academic experience with programs such as Battle of the Books, Science Olympiad, and Unified Sports;

• Treat our teachers to special “appreciation” events and gifts throughout the year; and

• Facilitate communication between the school, board of education, alumni, and families to ensure educational and facility equity.

We need your support to make this happen! The “Wild One Giving Campaign” will be a one-ask fundraising campaign that lasts two weeks, from October 2-24, with a goal of raising $15,000. By keeping the campaign short, we hope to raise the needed funds early so that we can focus on achieving our goals for the rest of the year. Advocats will not ask you for money again this year; we will still reach out occasionally to ask for volunteers, snacks, and help for the teachers as needed.

Please support our wonderful school community by considering a one-time donation! All gifts are 100% tax-deductible and many employers will match your contribution. Donors will be thanked on social media, and be personally recognized at our next general meeting. Any amount is appreciated!

What will your gift buy? Here are just a few examples:

• $25 pays for a one-gallon paint for the catwalk

• $50 pays for supplies for one classroom party

• $150 pays for Talent Show prizes

• $250 pays for the Clean Quarter Custodial Challenge

• $500 pays for one staff appreciation event

• $1,000 pays for the cost of Battle of the Books, Science Olympiad, and Unified Baseball Tournament
