The goal of this tutorial is to cover the basic concepts of discrete and network optimization. Fundamental models and their applications, design of algorithms and their analysis are covered. Computational aspects of the algorithms will be discussed. Some emphasis is on the use of linear and integer programming in discrete optimization.
