Literacy is a fundamental right, but for students with dyslexia and related learning difficulties, that right is jeopardized. According to the National Institute of Health, dyslexia impacts 1 in 5 people. Academic Therapy is a transformative way to address dyslexia and other learning difficulties. Academic Therapy is highly structured, explicit, sequential, cumulative, and simultaneously multi-sensory and can benefit not only severely involved to mildly dyslexic learners, but learners of all kinds. It allows students to experience the satisfaction and beauty of reading and writing, meeting their academic potential, and, ultimately, achieving their dreams.
