My name is Hannah Friedman, and I am from Marietta, Georgia. I will graduate from Clemson University in May of 2026 with a bachelor’s of science degree in Languages in International Health. After graduation, I plan on attending graduate school to earn my doctorate in physical therapy.
As soon as I learned about the languages and international health program at Clemson University, I knew I wanted to pursue this educational pathway. Ever since I was young, I was consistently going through physical therapy treatments for various injuries or conditions that I attained. I quickly learned that in the future, this is where I wanted to grow personally and professionally. Later, when I started taking Spanish courses in high school, I found a new passion. It was the class I looked forward to the most, and one I spent extra time on at home simply because I was curious to learn more. While physical therapy still remained my professional goal, my passions had grown. I was elated when I learned that Clemson University would allow me to continue my health education for my professional interest in physical therapy, while also pursuing my passion for the Spanish language. During my college career, I have learned so much about health sciences, highly escalated my spanish fluency, overcome many challenges, and gone through numerous new cultural experiences. I look forward to taking every tool I have gained during this time and utilizing it in my graduate and professional future
