Wireframes

During college we were asked to create a news media website inspired by other websites. This project took several weeks of research. I looked at several websites for inspiration.

Theses included:

• The guardian

• Mail Online

• BBC

• Washington Post

After research was completed I took aspects and features from the different websites that appealed to me.

• Typography

• Logo ideas

• Header ideas

• Layout ideas

• Footer

I wanted to create a website that captured readers attention. I created several prototype designs for the website. The site would have blocks that would contain text and an image. For typography the fonts used were Roboto and Lato. I found that theses two fonts complimented each other and a good weight.
