International
Network on
Hannah Arendt
and Education

The “International Network on Hannah Arendt and Education” invites researchers who are interested in joining discussions among the network’s topic. The network’s organizational committee tries to regularly arrange three types of online seminars:

  • Lectures with invited speakers who have done already profound research on Arendt and education.

  • Thematic seminars that focus on a topic or concept related to Arendt and education, for example ‘Exemplarity’.

  • Reading group sessions where we discuss Arendt’s texts together, e.g. “The Crisis in Education” (1958).

This website is divided into three sections that should help the network to gather knowledge. This knowledge is sub-divided in summaries of the lectures , think pieces on Arendtian concepts and resources that support researchers to teach with and about Arendt.
