Experience: I have over 8 years of teaching experience, and prior to teaching I worked as a professional artist (graphic designer) for 7 years. I also continue to substitute teach and create freelance designs.
Teacher Leadership: I have served as a Department Head, PLC Lead, Mentor Teacher, Union Representative, Art Club Sponsor, and a member of a district Curriculum-Writing Committee, School Leadership Team, and School Reopening Committee.
Work with Diverse Student Populations: I have taught grades 6-12 with a high percentage of students who are English Language Learners, have had traumatic experiences, come from low-income households, are immigrants, or have IEPs or 504 plans.
