Control LED power using a potentiometer.

In this example we connect a potentiometer to a LED, such that it controls the voltage flowing into the LED and its brightness.

The potentiometer output is connected to dispaly through an Arduino, which displays a bar showing the power (voltage) outputed by the potentiometer and going into the LED.
