The drag sensor is installed at the concentrate launder of a flotation cell to provide instant feedback on your mass pull. The overflowing concentrates induce a drag force to the cantilever beam and cause a deflection on the beam, which is directly proportional to the mass flow rate.
The superior performance of the drag sensor was demonstrated through comparison with conventional sensors through five days of onsite testing.
