This property had a 1 foot deep gulley built many years ago to separate the raised paving from the house. Over the years this gulley only served to act as a swimming pool for the rain water. With no cost-effective way of diverting the water away from the house, we came up with this novel solution to prevent the gulley filling up in the first place.
