Collecting the thatch from a large field previously mown with a flail mower. Despite 7 days of sun, the grass was still damp at the bottom of the thatch. Many of the thick areas had to raked and collected by hand. Hard work for both me and the machinery!

By contrast the main camping field was a quick job.
